Because we deal exclusively in digital products — which are delivered electronically and are immediately accessible upon purchase — our refund policy differs from that of physical goods marketplaces.

1. General Policy — All Sales Are Final

Due to the digital and intangible nature of the products sold on Infinite Market, all sales are generally considered final and non-refundable once a purchase has been completed and the download or access link has been delivered. This is because digital files cannot be "returned" in the way physical goods can, and we have no way to verify or enforce that a downloaded file has been deleted after a refund is issued.

2. Eligible Refund Circumstances

While our general policy is no-refunds, we recognize that exceptional circumstances do arise. Refunds may be considered and granted at our sole discretion in the following situations:

2.1 Product Not as Described

If the product you received is significantly different from what was described in the product listing — for example, missing core files, incorrect file formats not disclosed, or fundamentally different functionality — you may be eligible for a refund. You must provide clear evidence of the discrepancy, such as screenshots or a description of what was promised versus what was delivered.

2.2 Technical Failure / Download Issues

If you are unable to download your purchased file(s) due to a verified technical error on our Platform and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time frame, you may be entitled to a full refund. You must report such issues within 7 days of the purchase date.

2.3 Duplicate Purchase

If you accidentally purchase the same product more than once, the duplicate transaction may be refunded upon request, provided the request is made within 7 days of the duplicate purchase. You will need to provide order details for both transactions.

2.4 Unauthorized Transaction

2.5 Item Removed by Infinite Market

In the rare event that Infinite Market removes a product from the Platform due to a copyright violation, fraud, or policy breach by the seller after your purchase, and you are unable to access the product as a result, you will be entitled to a full refund.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind: You purchased a product but decided you no longer want or need it after downloading.
  • Incompatibility not disclosed pre-purchase: If the product description clearly listed compatibility requirements (e.g., specific software version, operating system) and your system does not meet them, this does not qualify for a refund.
  • Lack of skills or knowledge: If you purchased a product that requires specific software, skills, or expertise that you do not possess, this is not grounds for a refund.
  • Minor differences: Small stylistic or aesthetic differences between preview images and the actual product that do not affect the core functionality or value of the product.
  • Downloaded and used: Products that have been downloaded and are found to have been used in a project, publication, or other commercial application.
  • Price difference: If the same product is available elsewhere at a lower price.
  • Late requests: Refund requests submitted more than 7 days after the purchase date will not be considered, regardless of the reason.
  • Third-party software issues: Problems arising from incompatibility with third-party software, plugins, or extensions not mentioned in the product listing.

4. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund based on the criteria in Section 2, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide Details: Include your order number, the product name, the date of purchase, and a clear explanation of the reason for your refund request.

We reserve the right to request additional information or evidence before making a decision. Incomplete requests may be delayed or denied.

5. Refund Review and Decision

All refund requests are reviewed by our support team on a case-by-case basis. We take into account:

  • The nature and validity of the claim.
  • Supporting evidence provided by the buyer.
  • The seller's response and any counter-evidence.
  • The Platform's transaction records and download logs.

Our decision on all refund requests is final. We aim to be fair to both buyers and sellers, and we will communicate our decision clearly and promptly.

6. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Processing time may vary depending on your payment provider, but typically takes 5–10 business days after approval.
  • For payments made via digital wallets or third-party processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe), refund timelines are subject to those providers' policies.
  • Infinite Market does not charge any additional fees for processing approved refunds.

Please note that in cases where a platform fee was charged, only the product price may be refunded, depending on the payment processor's policy.

7. Impact on Sellers

When a refund is approved for a buyer, the corresponding earnings for the sale will be deducted from the seller's account balance. Sellers are strongly encouraged to:

  • Provide accurate and complete product descriptions and previews.
  • Ensure all listed file formats and features are included and functional.
  • Respond promptly to buyer support requests through the Platform.
  • Maintain high-quality standards to minimize refund claims.

Sellers with an unusually high refund rate may have their accounts reviewed and, if warranted, suspended or permanently removed from the Platform.

8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation. We encourage buyers to contact us directly to resolve any payment issues before escalating to their payment provider. Chargeback abuse may result in permanent account termination and being reported to payment processors.

9. Subscription and Credits

If the Platform offers subscription plans or account credits, refunds for unused subscription periods or unused credits are handled at our sole discretion. Please contact contact@infinitemarket.org for inquiries related to subscription billing.
